A Jira app I designed and built: review a design prototype inside the ticket, with comments, versions and approval.
In short
Problem
An HTML prototype on a ticket is a grey file icon. The feedback ends up in Slack.
What I did
A Jira app: open, comment, play, version and approve, without leaving the ticket.
Result
In beta with the product team. My first Forge app, tested across 34 real flows.
Inside Jira
The film
One minute. Every move, in order.
Four calls
Pin to the element
A comment sticks to the exact button, not a spot on the screen.
Instead of “which button do you mean?” in Slack
Play, not a video
Record a flow once. Reviewers replay it inside the live prototype.
Instead of a screen recording that goes stale
Versions keep their comments
v2 starts clean. v1 keeps its discussion.
Instead of two files with similar names
Approve is earned
It stays locked until every feature is reviewed.
Instead of “looks good” on a file nobody opened
Try it
Close the viewer, then open it again from the ticket.
Open it in JiraYou bring the problem.
I bring the prototype.
